For too long NLTBA ( North London Bowling Thursday Bowling Association ) has been a well kept secret. Presently consisting of eight clubs - Brimsdown, Bury Lodge, Finsbury Park, Hornsey, Noel Park, Pymmes Park, Victoria Park, and Walthamstow Borough, the association doesn't just play on Thursdays.

There are three leagues which the clubs play in - Cornish Shield, Wednesday League, and Prescott Cup - and there are association matches made up of members from the clubs playing against other associations.

With the opening of a new website the association plans to extend membership and generate more interest in the sport of lawn bowls. Not just a game for older people bowls is a competitive and tactical affair, and provides the benefit of excellent all round excercise combined with a marvellous social side.
