In the Grimsby League we were in 4th place and needing to take all 10 points from our final match. If that was not difficult enough, we had to play Carr Lane Bowls Club who had already won the league. However, the players excelled themselves and won all 4 rinks with a huge aggregate difference to win all 10 points and gain promotion to the First Division.
Well done to all players who have represented us in the Grimsby League and to our captain, Roy, who, in his last match as captain, helped us achieve our best result.
