Notice of Election, Submission of Nomination Papers and Date of Poll
Candidates will be able to submit their nominations from 10am until 4pm each (week) day from 21 March 2019. The closing date for nominations to be received by the Returning Officer is 4pm on Wednesday 3 April 2019. Please note,that this deadline is absolute and no nominations will be accepted after that time.
Although nominations can be received up to the deadline, it is strongly recommended that papers are submitted at least a couple of days before the deadline so that candidates will have the opportunity to resolve any problems which may arise. It is advisable to call the Elections Office in advance to make an appointment to submit nomination papers, but candidates are welcome to attend the District Council Offices at any time during the nomination period, although there may be a wait if an appointment has not been booked.
In the event of the election(s) being contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 2 May 2019, between the hours of 7am and 10pm. The count will take place on Friday 3 May 2019 at Sevenoaks Leisure Centre.

Follow London Road north and at the mini roundabout (junction with Station Road) go straight over. Village green to your left (noticeboard, flagpole, timber bus shelter) and shops to the right. Continue over bridge, Dunton Green Primary School and The Duke’s Head on your right. Immediately after the pub is the entrance to Glyn Davies Close but turn right just after this into the service road to the recreation ground car park (just before the terrace starts).
