OAKLEY TEAMS REACH CUSHEON QUARTER FINALS

This evening at Loddon Vale the three Oakley teams competing in the Cusheon Trophy were vying for places in the quarter finals. It was a good evening.

Oakley A (June Harvie, Dave Harrison, Bob Goodyear, Ashley Nethercliffe) beat Basingstoke Misfits. 27 - 8. They won all three games winning their group.

Oakley B ( Mary Varndell, Heather Statham, Terry Heath, Ted Brown lost to Basingstoke Rejects 13 - 21. They finished runner up in their group.

Oakley C ( Camilla Kingshott, Martin Smith, Eric Lamkin, Jocky Wilson beat Old Basing B 20 - 17. They finished runners up in their group.

All three teams, therefore qualified for the Quarter Finals on Saturday 4th March. The draw was done after the games tonight. Oakley A will be playing Oakley C. Oakley B will be playing Basingstoke Rejects again.
