Message from Nick Jarvis 20438 – Police Community Support Officer (Nantwich)
Covering the Audlem & Wybunbury wards Nantwich South and Stapeley
Cheshire Constabulary Crewe Local Policing Unit | Civic Centre | Crewe | CW1 2DQ | |
During Halloween and Bonfire Night extra patrols will be on duty to deter and possible Anti-Social Behaviour under Operation Treacle. We have had very few issues in Audlem over the past years.
During the Parish Cluster meeting concerns were raised in relation to the road closure on Cheshire Street starting on October 24th. HGVs could be a problem if they don't adhere to the diversion signs. We will consider extra patrols in the village during this period.
Parking problems continue. I have requested that the Civil Enforcement officers attend the Village and the police will continue to monitor any Hotspots.
With the dark evenings approaching we advise residents to check security lighting and general security around properties such as sheds etc. Leave lights on inside your property when going out, always try and make it look like someone is home.
Please remember to report any suspicious activity by calling 101. If you see a crime in progress, always call 999.
