Both Tarrant Keyneston teams played four league games during October, but it was not the best of starts for either of our sides.

The KOPS started with a 4 - 2 loss away at Sturlings in Division 2 of the Blackmore Vale League. This was followed by a home game against Templecombe Wasps, with just a point earned, and then a Dorset League Division 1 fixture at Carey with the opposition taking all six points.

An early return fixture saw Sturlings visit, and this match at last saw a change in fortunes with a 4 - 2 win.

The ROBBERS opening fixture in BVL Division 5 saw us turn around an 18 point deficit at half time to snatch a 3 - 3 draw. The Dorset League Division 5 opener at Ensbury Eagles saw us trailing again, but with no late comeback this time as we lost on both mats.

We seemed to be heading for 2 points against Stalbridge Hawks, but the two shot lead on one mat was turned over when we dropped 4 shots on the very last end to give our visitors maximum points.

Both mats were ahead early on against West Moors Rovers, but they came back strongly and our 6 shot win in the fours was bettered by their 7 shot victory in the triples, seeing them take the 2 bonus points in a 29-30 finish.

The KOPS and ROBBERS both have a busy November, and we hope for a more successful month.
