We can't wait to welcome you in June for this year's Regency Week. We have a full list of events for every day - and for our opening weekend you can look forward to:

Friday 19th June - Meet the Author, Katherine Sutherland, at Waterstones - and a free welcome event with Caroline Knight at the Alton House Hotel

Saturday 20th June - Regency Fayre throughout the day, with the free parade taking place at 11am. There will be stalls down the High Street and in the Assembly Rooms, entertainment will take place outside The Swan, and Joanne Cossey is returning to prepare Regency hairstyles for our guests. In the morning there's a guided Regency Walk, in the afternoon the Dance Workshop and then the Midsummer Ball in the evening.

Sunday 21st June - An historian's walk around Chawton in the morning, the Knight family picnic at Chawton House, afternoon Choral Evensong, Being Mr Wickham at the Holybourne Theatre, and Meet the Author Paula Byrne at Waterstones in the evening
