Progress is continuing at a positive pace on the Onehouse Neighbourhood Plan, with local volunteers and parish representatives working together to build a shared vision for the village’s future. The plan, which will help guide development, housing, green spaces, and community facilities, is a key opportunity for residents to have a direct say in how Onehouse evolves over the coming years.

A major milestone in the process has now been reached with the launch of an online questionnaire, giving each household in the community the chance to contribute their views. The questionnaire has been designed to gather feedback on a wide range of topics, including how residents feel about the character of the village, what services and facilities are most important, and what improvements they would like to see.

The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group has been carefully reviewing early input and continues to build evidence to ensure the plan reflects the needs and priorities of the whole community. However, they are keen to stress that the success of the plan depends on as many voices as possible being heard.

Residents are encouraged to take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire and share their thoughts. Whether you have lived in Onehouse for many years or are a newer member of the community, your input will help shape decisions that affect the village for years to come.

Those involved in the project understand that not everyone engages with digital platforms, and access to the questionnaire can be made available through the clerk Tel: 07462 056833

A spokesperson for the Steering Group said:

“This is a real opportunity for residents to influence the future of Onehouse in a meaningful way. Every response helps us build a clearer picture of what matters most to our community.”

Further updates will be shared as the plan develops, including opportunities to review findings and comment on draft proposals.

The questionnaire closes on 30th June, so have your say today and help shape the future of Onehouse at www.tinyurl.com/onehouseplan
