At last, the day we had all waited for arrived, the green opened.

This year’s President Gill Callaghan bowled the first bowl of the season, after she had been presented with her badge of office by Club Chairman Ken Powney. Who also presented Doreen Butt with her Vice-Presidents badge.

Club Captain Bob French presented Angie Hill with her Ladies Vice-Captains badge.

Although it was a bit chilly 22 members then enjoyed two 8 end roll ups with tea and cakes in-between.

Starting next Saturday, we have a full program of matches both league and friendlies to look forward to, I can’t wait.
