This Saturday 15th April at 2.00pm is the official opening of the outdoor green. Everyone is invited to come along; outdoor players please wear whites and your club shirt for the group photograph. Indoor and social members are also welcome with the bar open all afternoon.

The social committee have purchased a large 65-inch TV for the clubhouse from the social fund. Saturday is Grand National Day and the committee are organising a sweepstake for the race, tickets will be £1 each.

Food is bring and share.

We are hoping that our centenarian life member, former SBA President and national coach, Dick Northam, will be available to join our President Ann delivering the first bowls of the new outdoor season.

It will be great to see as many of you as possible next Saturday.

There is free parking in the Leisure Centre car park which is immediately adjacent to the Bowling Club. Wheelchair access is via the ramp at the corner of the green where Corams Lane joins Springfield Road.
