PALMERSTON CUP

Lee-on-the-Solent BC has returned to play in the Palmerston Cup this
year, and in their first match of the season, on Sunday 16th October,
indoors at Palmerston, they beat Rowner Aces by 91 shots to 40, and won
two of the three rinks of triples contested; thus winning the match 10 -
2 in league points, and placing us 2nd out of 5 teams in our
mini-league, albeit after only four of the clubs have played a game.

The individual rink scores were:-

Peter Gentry, Maurice Phillips and Sheila Gentry won 42 - 8;
Dave Turner, and Rob & Joan Dawkins won 33 - 7; and
Brian Underwood, and John & Elaine Bennett lost 16 - 25.
