On Sunday 6th November, in Lee-on-the-Solent's second indoor match in
the Palmerston Cup this season, they beat Fareham Cheetahs by 63 shots
to 42, and, again, won two of the three rinks, thus earning a further 10
of the 12 league points available. That places the Club at the top of
our mini-league, having now played 2 of our four games. However, we are
mindful that we will be facing stiff opposition in our next game against
Eastleigh Railway, which is arranged for 27th November, after the AGM,
and then against Lockswood A in mid-December, this could also be a hard
fought match.

The individual rink scores against Fareham Cheetahs were:-

Peter Gentry, Peter Dear and Sheila Gentry won 20 - 8;
Brian Underwood, and Sally & Brian Knight won 27 - 13; and
Dave Turner, and John & Elaine Bennett lost 16 - 21.
