Following a meeting of the Parish Council on 24th August which was well attended by residents, the attached response has now been lodged with Newark and Sherwood District Council (NSDC).
Residents are also encouraged to respond to this consultation by 5pm on 21st September 2021 in writing or by using the comments form available online.
I have once again added the link to the NSDC Options Report for ease of access.
Our thanks go to all residents who either attended the meeting last night or responded via email.
It is clear from reading the report and listening to Cllr Roger Blaney that there is agreement that the site at Fiskerton is not considered suitable. This is underpinned by our Neighbourhood Plan which stipulates that no building shall occur outside of the Village Envelope/ Built up areas.
We have added a link to the Neighbourhood Plan in case you wish to see it for yourself.
Best wishes,
Rob Lancaster
Chair of Fiskerton-cum-Morton Parish Council
