Playing Fields Revamp - Tesco Blue Token Scheme

The playing fields revamp, has been successful in applying for an in-store scheme run by the local Tesco store on Southgate, in Hornsea.

The scheme relies on shoppers, using blue tokens obtained from shopping at the store, to cast votes, within the Hornsea store.

You will find the token voting booth on your right just before you leave the main store area into the foyer.

Please use your blue tokens to vote for our local park revamp scheme (starting first week of October 2022, until mid January 2023)

What follows is an update from John Sherwood, who continues to be instrumental in the many successful grant applications thus far :

Please see the message below from Tesco after a successful grant application. This should guarantee us £500 but it could be up to £1500 if the park revamp gets the most votes. If you use the Tesco store in Hornsea from October to Mid January please look out for the scheme in store and vote for the park revamp.

“Tesco In-Store Vote Update!

We are delighted to let you know that your application to the Tesco Community Grants Scheme has been successful and your project will be put forward to a customer vote in Tesco stores. Voting will commence in store from the first week of October 2022 and continue until Mid January 2023. “
