There is a consultation underway regarding a proposal for the introduction of double yellow lines on Nicholson Road and Campion Square. Details are included here although there have been notices on site for several weeks.

The deadline for any comments is midday 3rd September. Documents are to remain open for public inspection on site until Monday 3rd September. The notices have come from Kent County Council (who will undertake the work involved) but it is understood that the request for the parking restrictions has come from Berkeley Homes.

The Parish Council will be submitting a response before the deadline, concerned that the already inadequate parking availability across the development will be compromised further by this proposal. Comments can be sent to the TRO Coordinator by email to TRO@kent.gov.uk or by post to the address detailed in the notices.

Follow London Road north and at the mini roundabout (junction with Station Road) go straight over. Village green to your left (noticeboard, flagpole, timber bus shelter) and shops to the right. Continue over bridge, Dunton Green Primary School and The Duke’s Head on your right. Immediately after the pub is the entrance to Glyn Davies Close but turn right just after this into the service road to the recreation ground car park (just before the terrace starts).
