Pavilion Refurbishment Survey
Pavilion Improvements
The Pavilion is a well-loved community facility which has a lovely location. It is now in need of some investment to improve this hall and allow it to continue to serve the community for many more years to come.
Have your say!
We have started to put together a proposed programme of refurbishment for The Pavilion. This is a huge schedule of works and will require a great deal of investment by the Council. It was resolved at Council to apply to the Public Works Loan Board (PWLB) for a loan of £20,000. With this capital the Council are looking to improve the kitchen, decorate the Pavilion inside and outside, improve the access to the loft areas of the Pavilion, improve storage for chairs and tables, look at improving window furnishings and provide notice boards for the displaying the Pre-school’s art.
As this an application for public money, it is important that we consult with our parishioners for their views. The PWLB provides preferential rates of interest for Parish Councils and the current rate is 1.59%. The Council wishes to repay the money over a period of five years.
