Pentewan Village Ward voters to elect new parish councillor on 28 May

Residents in Pentewan Village Ward will go to the polls on Thursday 28 May 2026 to elect a parish councillor for Pentewan Valley Parish Council.

Polling stations will be open from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm, giving eligible voters throughout the ward the chance to cast their ballot during the day.

Voters attending a polling station will need to show valid photo identification before they can vote. The same requirement also applies to anyone voting as a proxy on another person's behalf.

No poll cards will be issued for this election, but residents do not need a polling card in order to vote. They should, however, make sure they bring accepted photographic ID with them to the polling station.

Anyone who arrives without valid ID will be asked to return later with an accepted form of identification before being allowed to vote.

Voters may bring their own pen or pencil if they wish, although pencils will also be available at the polling station.
