Regarding the recent rat infestation on The Minnis - please see below from Bounty Pest Control: -

Bounty Pest Control are currently undertaking a pest management service against a Norway rat issue at The Minnis. The key to a safe and effective service is balancing health and safety and the environment. Dealing with rats at The Minnis, the work was awarded to a professional pest control organisation to ensure the work is carried out to stringent safety guidelines.

Bounty Pest Control, is a full member of BPCA and holds the necessary training and qualifications to be able to apply rodenticides under the Campaign for Responsible Rodenticide Use (CRRU).

Under the banner “Think Wildlife”, CRRU promotes best practice and responsible rodent control, thereby protecting wildlife from rodenticide exposure.

The eight-visit program during May and June 2021 focuses on regular visits to monitor the rodent population and to ensure any changes in the local environment are noted and adjustments to the treatment strategy changed.
