Friday the 1st December saw us play the last of the 4 legs for the Peter Enticknap trophy played between Milford Bowling Club and Milford Club. This competition has not been played for several years but it is back, well supported, and loads of fun. After the first 2 legs, playing bowls in the summer, we were holding a healthy lead. The 3rd leg, village games, tested our expertise in snooker, billiards, dominoes, pool etc. a test, where we had some individual stars, but we failed overall! Our lead was demolished and we arrived for the final event trailing by 5 points.

Four teams of four were to compete in a skittles match, every shot counting towards the final score. A couple of people falling in the ball pit, some loose balls across the carpet, some great shots and several misses were there to be witnessed. At the end of the day we won! We took home the trophy and the prize for best team score on the night. We lost out on the killer game as Craig from the club took control and won the pot .

Thank you to Colin our host with the banter and the scores and a big well done to all from both clubs who played, supported or help organise.

We will display the trophy with pride and look forward to next summer when we will compete again.
