Pitch Fee Review 2024 Advice

Over the last few weeks the 2024 pitch fee review forms have been dropping on doormats. However, the landlord used the wrong calculation which increased the pitch fee by 4.2% instead of 4% so the form was invalid.

They are currently having to reissue the form so people will get a new one telling you to disregard the first one.

The knock on effect of their mistake is - because they have to give residents 28 days notice of an increase, this year’s increase can no longer start in April and will take effect from May instead.

If you have a standing order that doesn’t expire, just alter it to your new rate from 1 May 2024.

If you have a standing order that expires in March, you will need to make a one off payment at the old rate for April, then start your new standing order at the new rate from May.

We have advised Toni in the office that she might get a lot of people choosing to make a manual payment for April in the office, then start their new standing order in May.

For all the people who haven’t received any pitch fee forms for 2024.

No need to worry. No pitch fee review form means no increase until they decide to issue our forms. When they do decide to do that they can’t backdate it and they must give us 28 days notice regardless. Just carry on paying what you have been paying in the meantime.

For all those who are asking if the bank details are still the same?

The new pitch fee review forms are showing the following bank information for standing orders.

Bank: Santander
Sort: 09-02-22
Account: 11109008
Account Name: PD SM and TR joint administrators of Dunton Park caravan site Limited.
Reference: Your personal customer number (normally starts with ‘CUS’)
