Platinum Jubilee Events - More to Come

Thank you to the organisers of a series events over the Platinum Jubilee weekend and, especially the local residents for their support.

The Beacon was lit on Thursday June 2nd after themed entertainment in the Communuity Centre.
The

Saturday 4th saw a concert in the St John The Baptist Church
and Sunday 5th saw a Picnic in the Park at the Lower Recreation Ground
- all supported by the Parish Council.

and Big thanks to Nirmal Menan from Halling Post Office for a fantastic jubilee celebration

A big event is also being planned for Saturday 27th August in the Lower Recreation Ground with a Mountain Bike Aerial Display Team and entertainment on the stage throughout the day, so put it in the diary.
