Please do not use the Football pitches while grass re-seeding takes place

Battle Town Council have been made aware of a Youth Football Training session taking place on the Youth pitch at Battle Recreation Ground last night.

The Goalmouths on the pitch had been reseeded yesterday morning, and the training session that took place has now damaged the repair work. All clubs with permission to use the pitch had been notified of the repair work and had agreed to avoid using the pitch until the seeded area had taken.

We ask that anyone wishing to use the pitch for formal training sessions or matches seeks permission from the Council before doing so.

This will avoid clashing times with other teams and any damage being done to repair works.
