Primary Care Response Hub

GPs, working with CCG officials, have set up a Primary Care Response Hub at the East Entrance of Newbury Racecourse. This is not a testing facility and access is by appointment only. Patients will be referred for an assessment at the hub by their GP if they have known COVID or COVID symptoms and need a face to face assessment to plan their care, or if they have known COVID/COVID symptoms and another urgent health need that would usually be managed by their GP. Clinicians are keeping contact with patients to a minimum so most patients will be assessed while they are in their cars. Only if necessary will a patient be assessed in a clinical room.
