Faversham Town Council is organising another demonstration against the proposed closure of Faversham's HWRC on Thursday 21st September, when Kent County councillors next meet. You may have seen their last demo covered on South East News in July. Although Kent County Council has put back the public consultation, Faversham Town Council wants to continue to fight for an option which does not include Faversham!

This time Faversham Town Council has arranged for a coach, which will leave Faversham approximately 7am to arrive in Maidstone for 8am, with a view to the demonstration finishing at 10am and then returning back to Faversham.
