Public Space Protection Orders Consultations

Cheshire East Council is now consulting on a number of Public Space Protection Orders (PSPO’s) currently in place across the borough. These orders are in existence for a period of 3 years and the current orders are due to expire in October 2020. The Council has a statutory obligation to consult with residents ahead of the orders being extended for a further 3 year period.

The PSPO’s to be consulted on include:-

• Dog fouling / Dog Control (boroughwide)

Please note: The Council is also consulting on a further two PSPO’s which relate to specific areas across the borough and these include Gating Orders (mainly in Crewe, with an order also in place in Macclesfield and Middlewich) and Carrs Park, Wilmslow (also relating to dog control) further details can also be found relating to these consultations on the above link.
