Race for Life

Chris would like to say a big thanks to everyone who sponsored him for this 5km fun. Just to prove he went through with it here is a picture. he completed the route 6 minutes faster than last year . The Aylesbury fun run raised more than £40,000 .

Here is a message from one of our members, Chris Styles who is raising money for Cancer research:

Dear friends and fellow bowls club members, I would like to thank all of you who kindly sponsored me on my "Race for Life", or in my case walk / jog for life, on 4th June. You managed to fill every line on the two donation forms I was provided. If the organizers had sent me more than the two donation forms to enter names on, I'm sure the club members that I didn't have space for would have signed on too. If anyone who I didn't pester to donate feels they would like to do so belatedly, they can see me and donate and I will send off a further cheque over and above the Amazing total of £205 i have already sent to Cancer Research U.K,

The Race for Life or in my case walk / jog for life will take place around the grounds of Waddesdon manor on June 4th at 7pm
