At long last children will be able to return to their favourite play area from Saturday, however, you will find a few changes when you get there designed to keep them and the community safe. We’ve had to remove some of the swings to promote social distancing and there are some common sense rules that everyone will be asked to follow. Can you check that you and your child are well before you venture out and when you get there pay attention to hand hygiene. There are gel dispensers on site but you might also wish to take your own. Although safe for your hands please make sure that young children do not use the dispensers unsupervised as it could make them ill if shallowed. We have resisted placing a cap on the numbers in each play area, but would ask that if the area is busy when you get there and social distancing is being observed please come back when its quieter. When you are waiting to get onto a play item make sure you queue at 2m intervals to stay safe and no snacks or drinks in the play areas for the time being.

Ahead of the play areas opening we have inspected all the equipment and areas and have implemented a daily spray of the equipment and touch points with disinfectant. This does not replace the need to regular hand washing but have taken it as an addition precaution. Lastly if you have rubbish with you at the end of your stay please either bin it or take it home with you. Have fun, stay safe.
