Remembrance Sunday - Thank You
Dunton Green Parish Council
Thank you to everyone from our community who attended yesterday's Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial. Once again, we were very pleased to welcome the Scouts, the School Choir and many of Dunton Green's residents to take part in the proceedings.
A thought -provoking and special anniversary this year, remembering the first Armistice Day 100 years ago and all those who died during the 'Great War' or who came home deeply affected. Sadly, it would not be 'the war to end all wars' and Dunton Green's war memorial also honours those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Second World War. The Remembrance Day Service honours them and all those who have given their lives in conflicts since.
Thank you for paying your respects.
