Although we cannot hold any commemoration events during the panddemic, why not visit the Village Hall gardens to read the biographies of those that lived in Riverhead or worshipped at St Mary's Church and lost their lives due to World War 2. Thanks goes to a local resident, Martin Denton who did all the research and prepared the biographies.

It is hoped that a Remembrance Sunday service, 8th November this year, will go ahead. At last everyone will actually be able to stand in front of the memorial now it has been relocated to it's new site.

Caroline, the Clerk, works Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. During the Coronavirus pandemic, visits to the office can only take place on Wednesday mornings to minimise contact with the Pre-school using the Village Hall on other days. Any other visits will need to be arranged by appointment.
