Road Closure - Bull Lane, 29 July 2026 - 30 July 2026

To allow pole and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bull Lane, Newington.

A closure is planned from 29th July 2026 with estimated completion by 30th July 2026, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC411001WGRDJ82R-01 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Bull Lane will be closed south of the junction with Wormdale Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole and cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Old House Lane, Lower Hartlip Road, A2 Hartlip Hill, A2 London Road, Playstool Road, Bull Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
