Road Closure - The Tracies, 1 July 2026 - 3 July 2026

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Tracies, Newington.

A closure is planned from 1st July 2026 with estimated completion by 3rd July 2026, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or where stated on a valid Permit (BC008WGTDM55VL2CSB-01 - OPENREACH LIMITED). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

The Tracies will be closed from the junction with Callaways Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while ducting works are undertaken by OPENREACH LIMITED.

There is no alternative route for this closure, however, residential and emergency access will be maintained at all times when it is safe to do so.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
