Road Closure: Aldworth Road 3rd-14th August
Aldworth Road in the parishes of Aldworth & Compton will be closed, the closure will be between the Junctions of Unnamed road from Aldworth Road to Uplands (near Pibworth Farm), and Coombe Road.
The date of this closure will be from the 3rd to 14th August 2020 (during the school holidays), the reason for this work is so BT contractors can lay new ducting along this section of the highway, the closure will be in place 24 hrs a day so as to progress works in a timely manner, however, the road will be open over the weekend period.
The main diversion route (some locals may choose to use narrower lanes) will be via School Rd, High St, Ilsley Rd, Unnamed Rd From Ilsley Rd to Newbury Hill, Newbury Rd, Water St, Church St, Wyld Court Hill, & Haw Lane (B4009) and vice versa.
Residential access will be maintained throughout.
