Sad Times by John Armstrong

As you may be aware Frank Dorkes has passed away.

Frank served the club in many roles over the years and was a top player and sportsman and recently as treasurer . Our thoughts are with his family at this time .

The bowls committee meet next week and we shall set a date to collect club registration and season ticket money.Last year it was 1st week in March .Members will be informed.

We have two new members enrolled with a possible three more but efforts are always needed to bring in more players .

I have ordered a new stock of club shirts which should arrive in time for the new season.

Terry Marriott has agreed to fulfill the treasurer role untill our AGM when we will be hoping someone will step up and take it on .
