Scarecrow Trail 2026 – Join the Fun in Our Community!

Get ready for one of the most creative and family-friendly events of the year — the Scarecrow Trail is back for 2026!

This much-loved community tradition invites residents, schools, and local groups to design and display their own unique scarecrows for everyone to enjoy. From funny and imaginative to clever and eye-catching, the trail transforms Tendring Parish into an open-air gallery for all ages.

Event Dates
The Scarecrow Trail will run from Saturday 2nd May to Monday 4th May 2026. Visitors are welcome to explore at their own pace throughout the event.

How to Take Part
Taking part is easy, everyone is encouraged to join in, simply collect your trail guide for £1 from Tendring Village Hall (2nd May 2026 between 10am and 2pm) or Yew Tree Cottage (Sunday 3rd and 4th May 11am).

Refreshments will be available from Tendring Village Hall on Saturday 2nd May 2026 between 11am and 2pm.
