Media statement - Swanley Lane accident
Yesterday, one of the Council's refuse vehicles was involved in a tragic accident with a cyclist in Swanley Lane.
The emergency services did all they could at the scene, but sadly, the cyclist passed away soon after the accident.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with the man’s family.
The Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and we will release further information as soon as we can.
Our thoughts are with all those involved or affected by this accident.
