SEASON ENDS IN DRAW

It was a fun afternoon yesterday at Oakley BC as 44 members took part in the annual end of season match between the President and Vice President. Although the green will be open for two more weeks and the Ladies have some rather important games to play, for many members it was the last opportunity to socialise and reminisce on what has been a strange but enjoyable and successful season. Thanks go to the President and his Vice President and their wives (who did most of the work) for arranging the after match buffet and drinks which seemed to be much appreciated. The match itself was, as is tradition, declared a DRAW by both Officers, though some seemed to think the scoreboards showed otherwise!
