An enjoyable warm afternoon opened our season on Saturday 30th April at Avenue Leamington, with some close fought matches against good opponents including an England U25 lead bowler. On Sunday 1st May our first home match, on a typical cold and damp day for bowls, saw our old friends from Bournville visit and claim a narrow victory.
