Find out more about this community in:

The Village Cross / Preaching Stone: You may have noticed someone removing the top of the cross. This is to allow access and get the right size stone ordered, which can then be worked on prior to being on site. Hopefully there will not be too much disruption for the nearby residents as the repair work progresses.

It was good to see the weather held out for the Village show again this year. I wasn’t able to spend a lot of time there, but am encouraged by the number of people attending. The Show society are looking for Volunteers.

Also in need of Volunteer work is the Strawberry Line. Several sections of the line are yet to be cleared, If this is something you would be interested in, getting involved with or organising a working group, please let me know.

Illegal parking is continuing in the village, blocking residents access, on yellow lines in front of junctions etc if you witness any, can you please report it.

We currently have a vacancy for a co-opted councillor, if this is something that interests you? Feel free to contact the clerk or myself for further information. If you feel you could support the village another way, there are various mechanisms for getting involved. Or indeed if you have ideas, we would welcome your input. Please contact the clerk at clerk@evercreech-pc.gov.uk.

Do come along to meetings which usually take place first Tuesday each month, the next meeting is on Tuesday 7th October in Evercreech Village Hall.
