Our Free Family Cycle Rides return this summer, focused on building up your confidence on two wheels. They're open to all, including families with small children. They're taking place in Knole Park and Brands Hatch.

Knole Park offers a 90-minute, gentle paced ride with breaks and traffic free paths in the stunning ancient deer park.

Brands Hatch provides an opportunity to ride on the renowned circuit that once hosted Formula 1 racing. You can cycle at your own pace for up to two hours on the route with gentle hills.

The rides are taking place on:

  • Sunday 17 July, 9am – Knole Park
  • Friday 19 August, 9am – Knole Park
  • Saturday 20 August, 9am – Knole Park
  • Monday 22 August, 10.30am and 2pm – Brands Hatch
  • Tuesday 30 August, 9am – Knole Park
  • Saturday 24 September, 10.30am and 2pm – Brands Hatch

You can book ride places from Wednesday 6 July 2022.

Terms and conditions (including place allocation)

Places on the rides will be allocated to people living or working in the Sevenoaks District

A maximum of two rides will be allocated per individual/family.

A cancellation fee of £5 per person will apply if riders do not show up after their place has been confirmed.

Riders must bring their own bikes. Bikes must be in safe working order. If in doubt, please have them checked in advance. If a bike is deemed unsafe by the ride leader, then the rider may not be able to participate.

Helmets must be worn and gloves are recommended. Open-toed shoes are not recommended.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the ride.

Riders will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire before setting off.
