The last letter residents received from Royale about electricty prices was dated 31 May 2023. This stated 'please find below your electricity rates for the period to 30/09/2023'. This coincides with Royale's fixed price contract with Pozitive Energy expiring on the same date.
Despite chasing Royale head office accounts and the administrator, residents have had no updates about what the rates are from 30/09/2023.
This means we're all continuing to pay 0.39 kWh which is around 30% more than current business unit rates.
We complained to the administraor about this and we got this reply.
Hi James
We have been in communications with Pozitive Energy for some time on this. Unfortunately they have delayed the process in terms of new contracts for certain sites and as such, we have escalated a complaint. As soon as I have an update, I will let you know.
