Over the weekend, Heather Statham and Nicole Rogers were both involved in the PBA Regional Finals being played at Bromley IBC. Yesterday both took part in the Women's Singles and unfortunately both found themselves in the same group. The game between the two of them was close with Nicole triumphing and moving into the semi final where she overcame Welsh International star Jess Sims. A place in the World Finals at Potters now beckoned but sadly Nicole lost out narrowly to England International Amy Stanton.

Today Nicole had, in the Junior Singles, a second opportunity to reach Potters and after overcoming England International Perry Martin in the quarter final she beat Mickey Titchcomb in the semi. In the Final, against Martin Puckett, another England International, Nicole again played well but she lost narrowly, going down in 2 sets 6-7, 5-7.

Nicole will be disappointed to miss out on the experience of playing at the World Indoor Finals but all reports suggest that, over the weekend, she made quite a name for herself
