South East Water - Temporary Road Closure - Ulcombe Road, Headcorn - 6th April 2026 (Maidstone District)

Due to works planned to be undertaken by South East Water, it will be necessary to close part of Ulcombe Road, Headcorn, from 6th April 2026 with estimated completion by 8th April 2026.

Ulcombe Road, Headcorn, will be closed in the vicinity of Little Poplar. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ulcombe Road, Crumps Lane, Headcorn Road, The Street, Ulcombe Hill, Lenham Road, Chartway Street, A274 North Street, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Mill Bank, Kings Road, Ulcombe Road and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce to allow cover replacement works to be carried out, works are undertaken by South East Water.
