Starcross Summer Tournament 2025

What an absolutely fabulous day, the sun came out, it went in again, it came out again, it rained, it was hot and sticky but our 72 players from around the south west bowled on whilst behind the scenes beverages were being consumed, food was being prepped, served and eaten, the bar was open and everyone had a great day. Thank you and we mean a BIG thank you to EVERYONE who helped in whatever way they could because without you this day would not have taken place. Congratulations Gary Ward, Trish Ward and Dave Robbins from Starcross Bowling Club for coming THIRD place, Pat Phillips, Graham Heaven & Kevan Davey from Torbay Country Club for second place and the overall winners Phil and Angie Bucknell and Terry Ash from Bitton Park Bowling Club, well done everyone, don’t spend the prize money all at once!

We would also like to say a massive well done to Amalie, our youngest EVER tournament player. She’s only 9 years old but was part of a team with her stepdad Jordan and Connor from Shaldon Bowling Club. She did amazing, it’s a long day out there but she held her own and contributed to their points throughout the games. Keep up the good work Amelie and we look forward to seeing you out on the green again soon in your new shirt!
