SUCCESSFUL OPEN DAY

Thanks to all members who turned out on a bitterly cold weekend to help the club in its drive to increase our membership numbers. Peter Bown did a grand job in running the event and our coaches worked very hard in difficult conditions. In total 26 people came up to the green to view our facilities and try the game and already we have obtained 4 new members to add to the 4 that have joined but could not make the Open Days. In addition 11 visitors are likely to attend the Bowls4Fun course to be run, over 4 weeks, by Ruth Bown and Sue Dixon and hopefully some of these will also decide to join the club.”
