Over 60 members turned up at Loddon Vale Indoor Bowling Club on Thursday evening for a Skittles evening, ably managed by our Social Committee. The start was delayed slightly because, since we made our booking, Loddon Vale had accepted a neutral Vivienne Trophy game on the green and at our scheduled start time the bowlers had not cleared the restaurant area. We were, however, soon under way with the delay seemingly of little concern to most present. Mid way through the evening we all enjoyed a meal of sausages or chicken or scampi , all with chips, before recommencing the skittles, at the end of which President Mary presented bottles of wine to the highest male and female scorers. Soon after 10.15 pm we departed the club with the consensus being it had been a very successful and enjoyable evening.
