Westminster field is a great place to go for a family day out and with the recent hot weather, it has been particularly busy. Unfortunately there are some that do not respect our green open spaces, the photo above shows the unacceptable mess left behind in the picnic area on Sunday evening.
However, when local resident Freya Leverington spotted it she jumped into action and had soon filled 5 sacks full of rubbish. (second photo)
Chair Councillor Peter Rushbrook has written a letter of thanks for her' hard work and sense of responsibility' on behalf of the Parish Council.
