Kent County Council operate an extremely popular and well-run Household Waste Recycling Centre in West Dartford. Users say they are hugely appreciative of the service they receive from the hard-working and professional staff and it is clear that the Centre offers a much needed service to local households.

Kent County Council is to launch a consultation that could see changes to the county-wide network of HWRC's including a potential closure of the Dartford HWRC. The consultation includes ALTERNATIVE options to the closure of our popular facility and we call upon KCC to pursue those alternatives rather than consider the removal of the popular and efficient service offered at the Dartford facility.
