Survey results - Open event / Local Plan
Whalton Parish Council & County Cllr Lyle Darwin would like to thank all those who attended the neighbourhood Plan consultation event held on Saturday 24th October 2026.
The event was well supported and considered to be a great success. Thanks to all who facilitated & to the village hall committee for use of the village hall front room.
A priority survey was conducted, 16 members of the public responded. The results demonstrated a priority to protect heritage assets and the need for a building design code. Results & Comments were received and relayed in detail to the PC & to the neighbourhood planning team at County Hall.
There will be future consultation events & parish meetings held to help develop a draft parish neighbourhood plan. Please get involed by attending meetings or let us have your views by email. clerk@whaltonparishcouncil.gov.uk
