Suspect arrested following theft of caravan in Romney Marsh
A caravan has been recovered and a suspect arrested following a theft in Romney Marsh.
Kent Police was called at 7am on Tuesday 24 March 2020 following an incident in St Mary's Bay, near Dymchurch.
The victim reported that a caravan had been unhooked from a vehicle and stolen during the night.
Later on the same day, Kent Police officers visited an address in Newington, near Sittingbourne and recovered the caravan.
A 37-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of theft. He was later bailed until Friday 17 April 2020.
