A meesage from Swaffham Town Cllr Judy Anscombe for Swaffham Town Independent businesses

After several weeks of silent streets, we all want to see the town shops, cafes, and businesses open and trading as they did before and there are now the beginnings of a route to ‘normal’ after lockdown.

This means new challenges facing you as a business: but the customers are still there and we must find innovative ways to look after them and serve their needs, whilst staying alert and following the necessary social distancing rules.

Our independent businesses represent a big part of the town and as a council we want to work with you to regenerate our town. The Swaffham Community has adapted to many challenges over the years and the Town Council and the businesses now need to work together to look to the future for local shopping.

We have put together a few questions to find out if we are able to support you in any way or to signpost you to our partners, such as the District or County Council or any other agency that may be able to help you.

To find out what support is needed by you as an Independent business in Swaffham Town, please could you complete the short survey on the council website and return it to Administrator@swaffhamtowncouncil.gov.uk by 31st May 2020.

    Kind Regards

    Cllr Judy Anscombe
